One lump or two, Thierry? The Queens held a reception today at Buckingham Palace for the Arsenal team, in what was the first such event for a football team. Either she’s a closet Gooner or she was making up for the fact she wasn’t able to open the new Emirates Stadium a few months ago. I’d like to think it’s the latter! Can’t see her in that red top, can you?

Anyway, Thierry and the boys had to put their best glad rags on and as well as a cup of tea, had a tour of the State Apartments. Hope Liz put the dirty washing away first!

Apparently the Queen complimented Thierry on his “very continental team!” Apart from baby Theo [Walcott] are there any other English players at Arsenal? I’m sure you’ll tell me.
