i think they should head forward first…
1) it’s easier to aim where you can look
2) it’s more useful as an all-ground skill (the backward heading is useful for forwards, or for a defender to cut a 2nd-post center)

Heading doesn’t …
Heading doesn’t have to be necessarily forward. The way they are heading it in the video can be a good flick for a good turn when you’re striking.
