Does anyone have fun soccer drills for kids age 4?

Posted by The Soccer Blogger as Soccer Training & Skills

I am a new soccer coach and need some fun ideas for drills for the kids. They seem to be easily bored, so I need something fun and easy to explain and do.

run forrest run… u make a gaultert kind of deal when the kids run form one side to the other…. the cathc is u and another coach stay on the outside of the box and try to hit the kids when the run…. they might be a little young for that so ummm u can play steal the bacon…. two small goals about 20-30 yeards apart, two teams and each person on each team is numbered 1 to 5 or how many are on one team… u line up in on the sidline at the middle of the field the kids sit on there respective sides in number order… u the coach throw a ball out and call a number .. then who ever is that number runs out and plays one on one tryin to score on their respective goals…. u can call more than one numbner makeing it 2 on 2 3 on 3 or u can call 1 then even when they are still playing throw another ball calline another number so their can be more kids out at once

there's sharks and minos.
where you have one kid(doesnt have the ball) that has to try to take the ball
from all the other kids.
once the ball is kicked out of the box you made,
they have to hold hands.
and both try to get the ball from the others.

as they continue to try to take the ball, or kick it away
from them, the kids continue to hold hands,
until the whole team is holding hands and normally
theyll be one or two still with the ball
that has to try to keep it away.

its a lot of fun,
but im not sure if itd be something simple
for the 4 year olds.
but its worth the try.
