Does anyone know of some good keeper diving drills for soccer?
Posted by The Soccer Blogger as Soccer Training & Skills
My soccer season's over but I've noticed that whenever I dive for a ball I miss a lot. Sounds bad… cause it is. got any drills that could help me?
We played power and finesse. 3 people game. One person stands to the side and has 2 soccer balls. Another person is running up, the first ball is kicked and this is power - kick as hard as possible at the goalie (3rd person). Then the second ball is passed and the runner has to use moves or finesse to get the ball in.

first, you'll need someone to shoot on you but instead of having one big goal, set up two smallers ones on the sides and stand in the middle. You'll have to get used to diving to the side inorder to get to the ball in time to save it.

My advise would be to not start diving on ur feet. Start out sitting down and have a partner throw the ball to either side of u. As u get better at this you should stand up and try it.
