soccer (football) question, on fitness/weights?

this is my thinking and i want your opinion about it. so i was thinking that for soccer conditioning i could were ankle weights. let me explain. if i wear ankle weight wile conditioning ( dribbling, juggling, sprinting running etc.) then when i play a game without the weights i will be faster, have better ball control and so on. IS THIS TRUE? will i get better playing with ankle weights?

also will working with regular weights help, for like arm strength and toning?

This will definitely help. I’m a very competitive soccer player and I trained with football players year-round (it was a speed camp, no playing balls of any sort). We did a lot of things with weights around our ankles and when we weren’t training, it felt like your legs were weightless while you ran.

Upper body strength and ab strength definitely helped out my game also.

Yea it does.Then when I play without them, I feel that I run faster.
