Soccer training over the summer, advice on what to do?

Posted by The Soccer Blogger as Soccer Training & Skills

Ok so summer is here and this means i get more time for soccer training until JV season, but anytime i go outside im usually very bored and all i do is practice my shots…and then when im on the computer i always think im wasting my time not practicing and getting better…it always bothers me, how many hours a day is enough practice to get far in soccer and any other training tips i should take besides shooting againist a wall….

Go to a local park and have a pick up game or do some skill training. You should run miles everyday to stay in shape. I have to train for JV too, but i have a summer soccer league i have to attend Good Luck!

Practice with your off foot (e.g. your left if your right footed)

look at doing yoga and stretches to make you supple and your joints strong

Look at doing twists, short dashes, running backwards
