What Can I Do to improve my Soccer Skills?
Posted by The Soccer Blogger as Soccer Training & Skills
im trying to find more ways to be the superstar of my soccer team.please help?
i am a mid-fielder..and i get tired running to defence and foward …..help.
I’m a midfielder too!!!! so I feel your pain. What I can say is for running, be smart on when you run because you don’t always have to run all the way back or all the way forward. And find a running partner for just a nice afternoon. Also running with a dog in the morning really helps. As for working more with the ball…. I would say find a wall and do some 1touches and shooting and when it bounces back try to trap it. See how many 1touch passes you can get in a row standing about 3-4 feet from the wall. Watch some youtube videos and try to do some moves aorund obstacles. Some good ones are the scissors, step over, the mathews if your trying to shoot. AND most certainly don’t be a ballhog but if you have an open feild SPRINT with the ball up the feild. That’s all I can say with that but I hope you can improve. Just have a ball at your feet with free time. =D

Play outside with the ball ALOT. Get plenty of touches. Practice dribbling with speed, keeping the ball close and under control. Learn some moves, like the step-over, cruyff turn, inside and outside cuts, and perfect them. Practice, Practice, and then go practice some more.
Good Luck!

You should play around with the ball. work on juggling the soccer ball. The more soccer juggles you can get the more comfortable you are with the ball. Doing toe touches helps very well. Don’t overwork yourself. Only practice about 15 minutes to a half hour. P.S. what position do you play
